This article presents the analysis of the rural women's main mechanisms of involvement in social and economic development as well as their designed indicators applicable to the research of rural women conditions in the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to identify their well-being and achieve gender equality. Data collection was conducted through focus groups and in-depth interviews in four regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Fergana, Surkhandarya, and Khorezm. Based on the findings of the survey, it was concluded that the social well-being of rural women acts as a mechanism for managing social processes and serves for increasing their well-being.
