Objective: determine and assess the status of cytokines in children and adults diagnosed with parasitic diseases. Methods: The immune status of 79 adults and children diagnosed with parasitic diseases living in the Bukhara and Khorezm regions was studied. Results: The results of determining the cytokine status in children and adults diagnosed with parasitic diseases showed that the serum concentrations of anti-inflammatory IL-4 and TNF-α anti-inflammatory cytokine in both groups of patients were significantly higher than in the control group (normative values). increased by 2.50 and 1.71 times, respectively, in children by 1.74 and 1.72 times, respectively. Conclusions. Significantly higher levels of anti-inflammatory cytokine (IL-4) in adults than in children are regarded as a sign of parasitic diseases and are recommended as a differential diagnostic immunological criterion.
