Modern directions of innovative development of agriculture are focused on technologies that are both profitable and safer for the environment. In the context of agricultural production, green technologies allow for a reduction in the negative impact of humans on the environment, and with a properly structured implementation process, ensure successful agricultural management and contribute to its sustainable development. One of the main goals of efficient production can be highlighted as the application of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies, the efficient use of resources in increasing yields and productivity, which is also achieved through the use of “green technologies.” The goals, objectives, and agricultural technologies from a thrifty perspective and within the framework of the green economy coincide. One of the directions of “green technologies” is the energy treatment of seeds, seedlings, and plants with ultraviolet rays. The article analyzes the foreign and Uzbek experience in implementing this technology in agricultural production.
