This article analyzes the seed germination rate and germination rate of various breeding varieties of sweet pepper. The research results showed that the seed germination period is 7-12 days, and the germination rate ranges from 69,7% to 89,8%. The highest germination rate was identified in some lines, which were evaluated as a promising source for selection. A direct correlation between germination rate and germination rate has not been identified. The results obtained are of great importance for selecting high-quality seed material and conducting effective breeding work.
