The article provides information on the role and importance of horticulture in ensuring the food security of the republic’s population, the reforms being carried out by the government for its development, as well as the level of mechanization, the current state, and the problems of horticulture in the country. As a scientific and technical solution to this problem, information is presented on the study of the design, parameters, and rotational characteristics of the proposed selfpropelled fruit harvesting machine for intensive orchards.
