This article presents research papers with a scientific and technical solution for the development of a resourcesaving and effective technical means and technology that ensures complete digging of the potato crop. It is indicated that it is necessary to develop a potato digger equipped with a device that digs potato tubers of compact design in one way, and to justify the technological process of work, to justify its parameters that ensure resource efficiency.
