The objective of this work is to theoretically calculate the design of energy-efficient pumps that minimize losses and effectively clean the flow. Modern methods for achieving such goals are not used in the design and manufacturing processes. The methods proposed in this article involve approximating the theoretical design with experimental data. Data is used showing that a significant number of pumps operate inefficiently due to wear. To reduce costs, energy consumption monitoring is essential, including pressure and flow parameters in operating modes. A loss calculation for a mixed-flow pump was developed based on loss model analysis. The internal flow field of a mixed-flow pump is calculated for two types of flow surfaces. This ensures accurate prediction of pump performance and impeller losses.
