This article examines the importance of warehouse accounting insupermarkets and its role in ensuring efficient retail operations. It highlights howproper warehouse management contributes to controlling the movement of goods,maintaining optimal stock levels, and reducing losses caused by spoilage, theft, ormismanagement. The study emphasizes the significance of organizing key processessuch as receiving, storing, and distributing products in a systematic way. Furthermore,the article discusses the impact of modern technologies, including barcode systems,automated software, and ERP solutions, in improving the accuracy and speed ofwarehouse operations. Special attention is given to inventory management practicessuch as FIFO, which are essential for handling perishable goods and maintainingproduct quality. In addition, the role of human resources, staff training, and securitysystems in effective warehouse management is analyzed. The article also explorescurrent trends such as smart warehouses and the use of data analytics for demandforecasting. In conclusion, warehouse accounting is presented as a strategic tool thatenhances operational efficiency, supports decision-making, and increases the overallprofitability and competitiveness of supermarkets.
