This article is devoted to the structural-typological study of lexical meanings of words that serve to express the content of the concept of components of banking.The concept of English banking text is defined as a type of specialized communication and a multifaceted social phenomenon.Within the spheres of social structure, economic and social relations of modern society the bank text is distinguished by its area of communication and participants, ie the addresant (bank) and the addresat (communicator in contact with the bank). The qualitative indicators of the participants are determined in many respects depending on the type of communication is studied on the basis of specialized lexical units,the denotative and connotative meanings they provide are highlighted. The fact that the addresant and addresat involved in each area of the bank text are different from each other is reflected in their lexical indicators, as evidenced by lexical means. Also, the selection of specialized lexical units in the bank text is systematized depending on certain pragmatic indicators of the banking system, ie levels, form of ownership, functions, tools and methods, operations and other factors.
