In this article, the attention paid by the leadership of our country to the formation of reading, the most important tool for the formation of human spirituality, which plays an important role in educating the younger generation, the source of sensitive feelings - the culture of reading. foreign experiences of formation are studied, information about scientific researches of foreign researchers, their advanced, effective methods and techniques, didactic readings are given. Based on foreign experience, the methodological basis for the formation of a creative reading culture of primary school students is described.
