Annotatsiya

This article discusses the competence approach in teaching Russian language and speech culture. Special attention is paid to the communicative competence, which includes a lingual component, a sociolinguistic component, and a pragmatic component. The competence approach has been widely introduced into education system due to the change in the educational paradigm due to the inclusion of Uzbekistan in the Bologna process, which, in turn, is due to the pan-European and global trend of integration and globalization of the world economy. The competence approach, popular in European countries and America and declared in the new Uzbek educational standards, is an attempt to bring into line, on the one hand, the need of the individual to integrate himself into the activities of society, on the other — the need of society to use the potential of each individual to ensure their economic, cultural and political development. It focuses on a quality assurance system for training students that meets the needs of the modern world labor market.
