In the article, the author provides a sociological study of the little-studied Institute of gap-gashtak (teahouse talks), which is widespread among the local population. The factors that led to the emergence of this system and its role in society are analyzed. It has been studied that some of the issues raised require attention to certain aspects of incidents under quarantine during the pandemic, as well as the differentiation of modern gossip into spheres and layers. In addition, the article analyzes the relations among group members in the social network, mainly material and non-material types of information, conversations on family and personal topics, advice, support, exchange of information about events in the media, rumors, as well as emotional experiences (joy, regret, compassion, crushing, boasting), repeatability for all activities.
