Speech acts as the means of emotional influence in teaching speaking. In the article, the author speaks about speech acts and their methodic classification, linguo-methodic principles of using them as the means of emotional effect. Grammatical meanings are potentially present in the semantic structure of language units, but are only found in a particular movement. The speaker chooses this or that linguistic unit and at the same time realizes the hidden grammatical meanings. This reflects the speaker’s unique idea of the optimal effect of speech on the receiver in a given context of the speaker’s speech movement. This choice is also determined by the communicators ’previous speech experience, as it signals a person’s uniqueness.
