The article deals with the issues based on using modern digital games in teaching a foreign language, which make it possible to increase students' motivation for learning, stimulate the development of skills in independent language learning, and reduce the level of anxiety. The problems and prospects of using educational technologies based on digital and mobile applications are analyzed.
