This article examines the use of euphemisms in the political discourse of Uzbekistan, especially in print media. Political euphemisms play an important role in softening statements, shaping public opinion, and observing political correctness. The article analyzes the main groups of euphemistic expressions, their functions, and their influence on the reader’s perception of information. The research is based on the materials of the newspapers “O‘zbekiston Ovozi” and “Yangi O‘zbekiston”, where the peculiarities of the use of political euphemisms are traced. Content analysis and lexical-semantic analysis were used. As a result of the study, the author’s classification of Uzbek political euphemisms has been developed, taking into account their thematic diversity and socio-political context. The findings of the article emphasize the importance of euphemisms as a tool of diplomacy and public opinion management in Uzbek political discourse.
