The article is devoted to the problems of improving the system of production and processing of steppe-pasture livestock products. The issues of pasture degradation, reduced productivity, factors affecting the nutrition of Karakul sheep, and the development of livestock farming using innovative technologies are covered in detail. The proposed technologies are aimed at the effective use of pasture resources, increasing productivity and ensuring economic efficiency.
