This article examines the symbolism of the images of the nightingale and prose in the lyrics of B.Yu. Poplavsky. The work is devoted to the study of the functioning and transformation of one of the most ancient subjects of world art in its philosophy and creativity. He spatio-temporal structure of the poems under consideration, and temporal concepts such as spring, night, evening, dawn are studied, during which the relationship of the chronotope with the indicated symbolism in Poplavsky’s lyrics is determined.
