Annotatsiya

This article provides a scientific analysis of the historical development of Central Asian academic vocal art from the 17th to the early 21st centuries. The study examines the dialogue between regional vocal traditions and the European academic style, the process of institutionalization during the Soviet era, the formation of national vocal schools in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as modern trends. The article extensively utilizes quotes from the works of renowned musicologists, vocalists, and educators. The study provides a new scientific basis for evaluating the vocal art of Central Asia within the context of global musical culture.
