The article discusses the methods, techniques and forms of the formation of creativeactivity in older scholchildren in piano lessons at a children’s music school. It is emphasized that thecreative process of learning to play the instrument is carried out taking into account the cognitive interestsand needs of students, is modeled depending on the personality of the person, her creative abilities, level ofdevelopment of technical skills of the game, accumulated performing experience, thesaurus.
