This article is devoted to the study and coverage of the musical culture ofKarakalpakstan within the framework of world historiography. It analyzes the scientificinterpretation of Karakalpak folk music, examples of oral and traditional creativity, bakhshi art, epicpoetry, folk songs, and national instruments in the works of foreign and domestic researchers. Italso highlights the role of Karakalpak musical culture in the context of world ethnomusicology, itsconnection with regional and universal cultural processes.
