Annotatsiya

This article examines the regional varieties of the Oghuz dialect, with a particular focus on the speech of Bukhara Turkmens. The study analyzes phonetic, morphological, and lexical features that distinguish the dialect from the literary standard, as well as the influence of Uzbek on the Turkmen dialect. Special attention is given to the formation of regional bilingualism, the phenomenon of diglossia, and processes of code-switching from a sociolinguistic perspective. The findings contribute to defining the place of the Oghuz dialect within the Turkic language system and provide insights into its socio-linguistic characteristics.
