This article analyzes the works of a number of 20th century scientists such as V.V.Bartold, A.Yu.Yakubovsky, S.P.Tolstov, I.Muminov, Y.Ghulamov, N.N.Vakturskaya, M.M.Mambetullaev, who conducted scientific research on the historical and cultural processes of the Khorezm oasis in the 14th-15th centuries.
