This article examines the development of the service sector, focusing on increasing the volume of services, optimizing its structural composition across industries, and conducting an economic-statistical analysis of the role of services in the national economy. Special attention is given to global transformations, particularly the emergence of new types of services in Uzbekistan’s market following the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the article explores economic development strategies, targeted programs, and policy decisions aimed at fostering the growth of the service sector.
