In this article, we conduct a comparative study of proverbs, sayings, aphorisms, and idioms in Uzbek, German, and Russian languages. The social origins of proverbs and phraseological units are unique to each era and each nation. When analyzing many proverbs in terms of their equivalence, we observe both their exact matches and differences. This article serves as an important resource for researchers, students, and practitioners interested in phraseology.
