This article talks about the life of qazi kalon of Khiva khanate, domla Muhammad Salim akhun, who was born around 1825 in Gurlen bek of Khiva khanate and lived until 1916 in Khiva khanate, holding the positions of mudarris, mutawalli, chairman, mufti, qazi-askar and qazi kalon, continued the school of calligraphy in Khorezm, taught in madrasa as a mudarris.
