The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations and practical mechanisms for enhancing students’ financial culture through the teaching of economic disciplines in higher education. It substantiates the essence of the concept of financial culture, its structural components (cognitive, practical-activity, and value-motivational), and the criteria for determining its levels of development. The results of a pedagogical experiment conducted with students of economics programmes at Bukhara State University demonstrate that integrating case studies, project-based learning, financial simulations, and digital learning tools into the content of economic disciplines produces a statistically significant improvement in students’ financial culture (χ²=7.85>χ²₀.₀₅=5.99). The study concludes with practical recommendations for improving the educational process.
