Annotatsiya

This article presents the results of the influence of different sowing dates on the biometric indicators of chickpea varieties, namely Yulduz (control), Uzbekistanskiy-32, Milyutinskiy-6, and Umid, under the conditions of irrigated typical serozems in the Samarkand region. It was established that early sowing dates (February 17–20) ensure the achievement of the highest values for all biometric parameters of the studied varieties. A strong correlation was identified between plant height during the maturation phase and the sowing dates; the correlation coefficients were r=0.99 for the Milyutinskiy-6 variety, r=0.93 for the Yulduz (control) variety, and r=0.87 and r=0.82 for the Uzbekistanskiy-32 and Umid varieties, respectively.
