This article provides a comparative linguocultural analysis of forms of address in Uzbek and English. In Uzbek, respect, familiarity, social distance, and age-related relations are clearly expressed through the pronouns sen and siz, while in English this function is mainly performed by the single pronoun you and various titles. The article compares Uzbek address forms such as aka, opa, domla, muhtaram, azizim, dada, ona, and xo‘jayinim with English forms such as Sir, Madam, Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Doctor, and Professor. Special attention is paid to the role of address forms in expressing national mentality, family values, speech etiquette, and linguocultural competence.
