The story explores the complex relationships, human flaws, and nobility among Koroghlu, Ayvaz, Demirchi-Oghlu, and Buli Pasha. Central to the narrative are Koroghlu’s tragic mistake made in a fit of anger toward his servant Gamber, and his later decision to release his rival Buli Pasha from prison, promising to help him win his beloved Duna. The paper highlights Koroghlu’s multifaceted character—showing both his heroic nature and his human vulnerabilities—and his ability to transform an enemy into an ally, as presented in the English translation.
