This article analyzes the impact of climate change, neotectonic processes, hydrographic dynamics and landscape transformation on the cultural adaptation of ancient societies in Central Asia. Special attention is paid to the ecological conditions of the Pleistocene and Holocene, the spatial distribution of archaeological sites, ancient mining and metallurgical centers, the formation of Neolithic and Bronze Age economic-cultural types, as well as the relationship between the political activity of nomadic societies and paleoclimatic factors. The article interprets the interaction between the natural environment and human activity as an important scientific category for understanding the civilizational processes of Central Asia.
