This article examines the role of the epistolary genre in Uzbek literature and its artistic andaesthetic potential through the examples of works from different periods and literary trends. The study analyzesthe function of the epistolary style in plot development, revealing the inner world of characters, and expressingthe author's artistic intention. It also highlights the transformation of the letter genre in modern literature andits emergence in new forms.The analysis shows that the epistolary genre in Uzbek literature serves not only asa literary device but also as an important aesthetic phenomenon that enables a deeper understanding of humanpsychology, preserves spiritual connections between generations, and reflects contemporary social issues.
