Although Uzbek historiography has achieved great success in recent years in objectively covering all aspects of the history of our country, issues related to the history of the repair and restoration of historical and architectural monuments in independent Uzbekistan have still not found a scientific basis in historiography. The article is aimed at finding a solution to this issue.
