This article examines one aspect of the syntactic structure of a sentence - the phenomenon of separation - as a syntactic method associated with increasing the complexity of sentence structure. The article emphasizes that the phenomenon of separation involves syntactic constructions that possess relatively independent content, semantic function, distinctive intonation, pauses, as well as independent logical stress. These constructions appear within simple sentences, transforming them into complex sentences while simultaneously serving as a means of self-complication. Additionally, the article analyzes the role and significance of the separation phenomenon in sentence structure through examples.
