The article addresses the timely task of creating a Russian-Uzbek explanatory dictionary of linguistic terms. It analyzes the key aspects of this project, which are of significant importance to the linguistic community. Special attention is given to the necessity of establishing mutual understanding between Russian and Uzbek linguistic schools, as well as emphasizing the importance of unifying terminology in linguistic research. The dictionary is viewed as a unique bridge between two cultures, which will help translators, scholars, and students more effectively utilize and exchange linguistic knowledge.
