Based on the research of foreign scientists, love as a socio-psychological phenomenon was considered from the point of view of a complex approach. The article provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of love on social development as a psychological structural structure of a couple’s relationship. Also, in modern society, the connection between love and the psychologicalstate of a person is shown, approaches to the phenomenon of love in the context of family relationships.
