The problems of preparing young people for family life are one of the important topics studied by both domestic and foreign scientists today. Since the youth category is a separate social group with its own psychological characteristics, the phenomenon of social phobia is considered important in the institutionalization of society, and it is important to study the psychological characteristics of young people, psychosocial motives for marriage in the manifestation of marriage motives. The article analyzes the results of empirical research conducted on this problem.
