This article discusses the English equivalents of Uzbek national proverbs and their lexical features within the framework of linguoculturological interpretation. In particular, taking into account the semantic and structural features, several types of classification of alternative variants of international proverbs in the Uzbek and English languages have been developed, and an analysis of the semantic aspects of their lexical layer has been carried out. Through a comparative study of national proverbs relating to two different cultures and worldviews, their differential and isomorphic features are highlighted. Due to this, special attention is paid to the thematic diversity of Uzbek national proverbs, which cover the most complex problems of social life and detailed traditions of family life.
