This article presents variability by vegetation period in the families of the sunflower’s simple F4 hybrid. In terms of early maturity, F4 (♀С-Alstor x ♂KK-1) O-14 and O-18 and F4 (♀Sor Gollips x ♂KK-1) O-27, O-30, and O-35 families exhibited shorter vegetation periods compared to other families. For this trait of early maturity, plants of families up to 83 days old, located in the left part of the variation series, were selected.
