The review of works on the history of the origin and development of industrial oil refining in Uzbekistan is given. Methods of quality control of petroleum products used in chemical and analytical laboratories are described. The paper contains a detailed comparison of mathematical models (virtual analyzers) of quality indicators of petroleum products obtained at oil refineries. The author has developed models of virtual quality analyzers in the form of autoregressive models. Experimental data of the current low-power plant were used as the initial data. The analysis of the adequacy of the obtained models according to the adjusted determination criterion is performed. The results obtained allow us to recommend autoregressive models in the management of the oil refining process.
