SYNERGY OF FICTIONAL TEXT

Annotatsiya

The article is concerned with the problem of a literary text, its specific features, and its interpretational potential viewed from the perspectives оf Prgamainguistics and Cognitive Semantics. The aim of the research is to consider the main properties specifying the fictional text as a unique synergetic wholeness and to substantiate the necessity of an interdisciplinary synergetic approach to its analysis and interpretation. Specific properties of the literary text are a) an aesthetic function in its relation to the communicative, cognitive and cultural functions; b) the principle of anthropocentrism highlighting the notions of linguistic personality of the author, personage and reader; c) the communicative character of the literary text including the process of text construction and perception; d) the interaction between textual categories of intentionality, subjective modality, imagery, implicitness, evaluation, etc.; e) the cognitive and cultural nature of the literary text considered from the perspective of cognitive principles of presenting information in the text: distribution of given and new information, the principle of foregrounding, the principle of binary oppositions and contrast in the literary text. The result of the undertaken research consists in the following conclusion: the synergy of a literary text is conditioned by a) the synergetics of a literary text is conditioned by: a) the multidimensional structure of fictional text that includes structural-semantic, stylistic, communicative-pragmatic, cognitive and cultural dimensions; b) the interaction of textual categories such as intentionality, subjective-evaluative modality, linguistic creativity, implicitness, imagery, evaluativeness, emotiveness; c) a hierarchically organized system of relations and textual associations built on the basis of the principles of binary opposition and contrast; d) a variety of communicative, stylistic, pragmatic, cognitive and cultural functions, united by a single function of aesthetic impact; e) the anthropocentric character of a literary text reflected in the linguistic personality of the author, character and reader, each of them having their own linguistic markers on the surface layer of the text; f) some common theoretical assumptions and methodological principles of Text Stylistics and Interpretation, Pragmalinguistics, Cognitive Linguistics and that ensures the extrapolation of some methods of Pragmalinguistics and Cognitive Linguistics into the field of Text Stylistics and Interpretation.
