This article provides a scientifically grounded analysis of the role and importance of demographic changes in ensuring gender equality. Based on empirical data, the interrelationship between changes in the age and gender structure of the population, fertility rates, and women's activity in the labor market is demonstrated. The research findings indicate that in Uzbekistan, the reduction of demographic pressure and the increase in women’s educational attainment have strengthened their economic and social participation. However, gender disparities still persist in certain areas, particularly in wages, leadership positions, and entrepreneurship. The article substantiates the necessity of integrating demographic policy with gender strategy, expanding women's employment opportunities, and increasing men's involvement in family policy. The results of the study are of practical importance for developing policies aimed at promoting gender equality and improving the quality of human capital in Uzbekistan.
