The article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the concept, types, and distinctive features of military official crimes. The author critically examines scientific approaches to defining this concept and proposes his own definition. Based on the study of objective and subjective characteristics, the specific features of military official crimes have been identified. Particular attention is paid to the issues of classifying these offenses and the problems associated with their qualification. The views of scholars on the content of objective and subjective aspects of the crime composition have been analyzed. Current issues in preventing military official crimes have been considered. As a result of the research, the author concludes that it is necessary to improve the legislative definition of the concept "military official" and develops a corresponding proposal. The article has theoretical and practical significance for further research in this field.
