This article discusses the content of the concept of health culture and its importance in society and the life of the individual. The author interprets health culture as a set of conscious behavior, knowledge and skills aimed at ensuring the physical, mental and social wellbeing of a person. The article analyzes the components of a healthy lifestyle, the role of hygiene, freedom from harmful habits, proper nutrition and regular physical activity. It also shows effective methods for forming a health culture among young people, the role of educational institutions and the family. According to the results of the study, it is emphasized that health culture has a direct impact on the development of society, labor productivity and an increase in the quality of life.
