В статье рассматриваются проблемные аспекты развития и благоустройства набережных территорий в современных городах. Актуальность исследования обусловлена возрастающей ролью прибрежных зон как общественных пространств, формирующих качество городской среды и уровень комфорта населения. Несмотря на активную реализацию программ по реконструкции набережных, в практике их проектирования и эксплуатации сохраняется ряд существенных недоработок. В работе анализируются градостроительные, социальные, экологические и инженерно-технические проблемы, возникающие при обустройстве набережных: несогласованность с планировочной структурой города, недостаточная транспортная доступность, ограниченная адаптация для маломобильных групп населения, снижение природной ценности береговых территорий, а также недостатки эксплуатации и обслуживания. Особое внимание уделяется вопросам устойчивого развития и необходимости комплексного подхода к формированию прибрежных пространств. По результатам анализа формулируются предложения по совершенствованию проектных решений, повышению экологической устойчивости и улучшению качества городской среды. Материалы статьи могут быть использованы в практике градостроительного проектирования, а также в научных исследованиях в области архитектуры и урбанистики.
