The article analyzes regional cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, especially in the field of environmental protection and water resources management. The main focus is on the participation of the Intergovernmental Commission on Sustainable Development, the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) in international environmental processes, expanding access to international financing mechanisms in the field of climate change and biodiversity conservation, as well as environmental management.
