This article examines the national strategies of Central Asian countries in water resource management and analyzes their transnational effects, which significantly influence regional stability and international relations. The water management strategies of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan demonstrate a diversity of approaches and the peculiarities of implementing national interests in the context of transboundary water resources. The main goal of the article is to analyze the impact of various national strategies on transboundary relations and regional stability and to suggest recommendations for improving cooperation in this area. The study is based on methods of documentary analysis, content analysis, allowing for a comprehensive view of the current situation and prospects for the development of transboundary water cooperation in Central Asia. The research results emphasize the importance of integrated approaches and international cooperation to prevent conflicts and ensure sustainable water resource management under conditions of climate change and population increase in the region. The proposed recommendations are aimed at enhancing regional cooperation, creating transboundary water commissions, investing in water-saving technologies, improving information transparency, international support, and infrastructure development.
