The development of critical thinking in Higher Education, which is of great importance to students and society, increases the effectiveness of the educational process. Critical thinking develops the ability of students to analyze, evaluate and independently develop their own thoughts, and not just the acceptance of knowledge. This skill also plays an important role in achieving success in social and professional life, solving problems, developing innovative approaches and creating new ideas. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the importance and benefits of critical thinking in higher education. The article examines the impact of critical thinking on key areas such as academic success, personal development, and Social Responsibility, and its role in the higher education system.
