This article discusses in detail the specific features of the pro bono institution, its origin, and its historical path of development. It also highlights the importance of pro bono in civil courts, its practical application and implementation, as well as the role it plays in international law and domestic legal practice. Particular attention is paid to the system and mechanisms for improving legal practice and pro bono tools. In the course of the study, an analysis was made of the experience of many foreign countries in this area.
