The article analyzes liability for smuggling in the CIS countries from a comparative legal point of view, in particular, the object and subject, the objective side, aggravating circumstances, and the type and amount of punishment. At the same time, general and various aspects of responsibility for smuggling in the CIS countries are revealed.
