This article examines the issues of forming critical thinking through speech development in preschool children (ages 3–7). The theoretical concepts substantiating the unity of speech and thinking, as well as the effectiveness of practical pedagogical methods, didactic games, developmental conversations and reasoning activities are analyzed. The research results show that targeted speech exercises can significantly increase children's ability to draw logical conclusions, analyze problems and find creative solutions. Practical recommendations for preschool educational institutions of Uzbekistan have been developed.
